The Center for the Advancement of Teaching provides grant funding to instructors and departments to support innovation, experimentation, and development of undergraduate curricula and pedagogy. There are three types of grants offered:
- Instructional Improvement Grants - Supports large-scale faculty, department, and college or school initiated projects.
- Mini-Grants - For small-scale projects that enhance instruction, such as buying media, honoraria, and field trips.
- Provost's Grants to Increase Access and Reduce Disparaties - Provides funding to departments or divisions/schools to identify and alleviate barriers to timely degree completion and to close disparities for their undergraduate majors.
