Wonki Lee leads the Assessment of Student and Instructor Experience unit’s efforts to enhance course and program improvement through mixed-methods assessment. She also supports internally and externally grant-funded projects, as well as contributes to the Teaching and Learning Center’s self-assessment and strategic planning.
Wonki comes to the TLC from Purdue University, where she served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Instructional Excellence. Her work spans disciplines and includes large-scale program evaluation, equity-centered assessment, and the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL). Her background as an educational researcher and assessment specialist, with a strong focus on mixed-methods research, culturally responsive pedagogy, and faculty development, made her an ideal fit for this position.
She earned her Ph.D. in Education, Curriculum, and Instruction, Literacy, and Language from Purdue University. Outside of work, Wonki enjoys high-intensity interval training (HIIT), cooking, and traveling.
