Angela Fentiman is the Director of Communications and Creative Services at the UCLA Teaching and Learning Center, where she oversees marketing and communications activities and drives internal and external outreach strategies.
With nearly two decades of experience in public relations, executive communications, media relations, crisis communication, community outreach, and governmental relations, Angela brings a wealth of expertise to UCLA. Before joining UCLA in 2022 as the Associate Director for Executive Communications, she co-founded and served as CEO and Managing Partner of a public relations and public affairs consulting firm specializing in infrastructure, energy, and sustainability projects. Angela has also held significant communication roles in the energy sector and at a prominent business advocacy organization in Los Angeles.
Angela earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from California Lutheran University and a master’s degree in Public Administration from CSU, Northridge. She is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Global Leadership and Change at Pepperdine University, with a research focus on women in executive leadership roles. Angela has been an instructor at UCLA Extension for 13 years and has held adjunct professor positions at California Lutheran University and Woodbury University.
