CD Eskilson is the Manager of Communications for the UCLA Teaching and Learning Center where they organize the TLC’s written communications and coordinate digital outreach strategies.
They have over six years of experience working at the intersection of higher education and communications. CD previously served as editor for the University of Arkansas Honors College providing communications support for its publicity materials, print publications, and digital media. Prior to that, CD worked as a programming and outreach coordinator at the Open Mouth Literary Center, a nonprofit based in Northwest Arkansas supporting underrepresented writers through access-focused poetry events.
CD earned their bachelor’s degree in English from Pitzer College and their master’s in fine arts in creative writing from the University of Arkansas. CD has also taught writing through both academic courses and community workshops with different literary organizations.
