Elena Peterson, Ph.D., is the Educational Assessment Analyst at the UCLA Teaching and Learning Center. In this role, she conducts analyses of academic programs and student experiences to promote teaching excellence and enhance student learning at UCLA.
Elena earned her Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Colorado Boulder and received bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Art from Carnegie Mellon University. Her doctoral research focused on identifying neural and behavioral markers of mental health and cognitive functioning in adolescents and young adults. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, visiting art museums, and trying new restaurants.
