Michelle Chen is the Director of Administrative Operations at the UCLA Teaching and Learning Center, where she leads project management, event planning, and committee support team for all TLC programmatic activities.
Michelle has worked at UCLA since 2010, serving in roles such as Special Projects Manager for the Teaching and Learning Center, overseeing key initiatives like Instructional Improvement Grants, Holistic Evaluation of Teaching, and the Night to
Honor Teaching. Before joining TLC in 2014, she held project management roles at UCLA’s Office of Information Technology and Social Sciences Computing.
Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and East Asian Languages and Cultures with a Specialization in Computing from UCLA. She has also served in leadership positions such as President of UCLA’s Staff Assembly and Senior Delegate for UCLA to the Council of UC Staff Assemblies.
