What to Expect in this Showcase

STAT 100A implemented various pedagogical strategies to increase the communication opportunities and engage students in Bruin Learn. It uses Discussion, Inbox, Announcements, Modules, and more in Bruin Learn to build a learning community for students from the very beginning.

  • Use Announcements to inform students of course updates, topic-related events, and follow-up on class learning progress.
  • Use Discussions to help students reflect on different topics for each week
  • Use the Bruin Learn Inbox to keep communication within the course site
  • Build a learning community using course reception to engage students from the beginning of their learning journey
  • Distribute course lectures using interactive videos to have students interact with course content
