The TLC welcomes all instructors, new and relatively new to UCLA, to the New Instructor Teaching Institute (NITI). The program will orient instructors to campus, explore effective teaching practices, and connect with other new instructors, deans, and department chairs.
NITI is designed to welcome instructors to UCLA by helping them identify the TLC’s key resources and services as well as explore teaching frameworks to support all learners. Participants also have the opportunity to build professional relationships with fellow instructors while gaining an understanding of UCLA’s institutional culture and surrounding communities.
