Why Course Design
Developing courses that engage all students might traditionally require years of teaching to refine content and pedagogical approach. Our team of instructional designers can support this process as creative partners with broad expertise in pedagogy, technology, and design. We help instructors tackle teaching challenges, brainstorm ideas, test technologies, improve course flow, and build content so that their students can meaningfully engage with the content, their peers, and their instructors.
Our front-loaded development process and timeline allows instructors to completely design, build, and test course content before students begin. Designing beforehand allows you to focus on student engagement, such as building a virtual community, providing feedback, and communicating using Canvas.
For a new course design or course redesign, learn more about how we can help on the Designing a Course page.
