Petunia Sunnywell is the Digital Accessibility Specialist at the UCLA Teaching and Learning Center. She partners with instructors and cross-campus collaborators to support the development of digitally accessible course materials in alignment with efforts towards inclusive excellence.
Petunia has over eight years of experience in digital accessibility and holds a Master’s degree in Learning Technologies and Design, as well as CPACC and DHS Section 508 Trusted Tester certifications. Her diverse background includes roles in higher education and government facilitating learning for creating accessible content, including data visualizations, maps, and STEM content.
Petunia is an animal lover and a vegan. She loves to spend time with her German Shepherd, especially outdoors!
