This workshop will explore techniques for creating accessible instructional documents in Google Docs and Microsoft Word. Participants will learn how to build meaningful document structure with headings and lists, create descriptive links, design accessible tables, and provide effective alternative text for images and charts. The workshop will also examine accessibility challenges within PDFs and explore why an accessible Word document often gives students a more flexible and accessible experience.
