Finals week is almost here, and it’s nearly time for a much-deserved break. The TLC has services and resources to help you grade, complete the quarter, and get a start on preparing to teach summer or fall classes. Check out our End of the Quarter Teaching Checklist, strategies for integrating efficient feedback for final assessments, and tips on encouraging participation in the Student Experiences of Teaching (SET) surveys. The TLC also offers a free test-scoring service for multiple-choice exams, as well as support for Gradescope Bubble sheets. We have a few more opportunities to engage as well through our Scholarly Teaching Seminar and Teaching Symposium on AI.

Additionally, we want to congratulate the 2026 UCLA Distinguished Teaching Awards recipients. The awards honor deserving instructors for their creativity and commitment to educational innovation. More details about the awards can be found in a recent BruinPost from Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning Erin Sanders O’Leary. Congratulations to all the honorees!
