Christopher Dutton
Christopher Dutton is the Learning Spaces Liaison for the UCLA Teaching and Learning Center, where he works with other campus departments and stakeholders in the planning, development and modernization of classrooms and learning spaces. Administratively, he helps with the management of the TLC’s departmental spaces.

Jaerika Vega
Jaerika Vega is the Human Resources Generalist at the UCLA Teaching and Leaning Center (TLC) where she is responsible for consulting with the five units that make up TLC and serves as a resource on HR functions.
Michelle Chen
Michelle Chen is the Director of Administrative Operations for the UCLA Teaching and Learning Center, where she oversees the administrative support staff who provide project management, event planning, and committee support to all TLC programmatic activities.
Stephy Lao Nong
Stephy Lao Nong is the Contracts and Grants Manager for the UCLA Teaching and Learning Center where she oversees all inter- and extramural funds, prepares grant proposals and manages the full process to pre-award, post-award, and closing of all grants. She also creates budget and expenditure reports for the Vice Provost, Assistant Vice Provost, and Directors.
Candice Thomas
Candice Thomas provides administrative support to the Instructional Design and Media Production Team, as well as manages the TLC Scantron Test Scoring Service. She also serves on a Subcommittee whose task is modernizing UCLA’s classrooms.
Marjorie Banaag Llanera
Marjorie Llanera is a program analyst for the UCLA Teaching and Learning Center, where she provides administrative and scheduling support for special projects and working groups, such as the Holistic Evaluation of Teaching Initiative, under Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning Erin Sanders O’Leary.
Edward Amescua
Overall responsibility for the financial management and administrative functions for the department. Responsibilities in the financial management area include leading the annual budget process; develop policies and procedures for budget development and management for the entire organization.
Lucia Tabarez
Lucia Tabarez is a Program Analyst at UCLA’s Teaching & Learning Center (TLC), supporting Graduate Student Programs & Support. She specializes in data gathering, qualitative assessment, project management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring strategic objectives are met. Her role also involves creating surveys, coding open-ended responses, and organizing events to enhance the experience of graduate students and faculty.
