Purchasing Coordinator

Milínda Tabarez serves as the Purchasing Coordinator at the UCLA Teaching and Learning Center, where she manages purchasing, financial processing, and coordinates travel and event logistics. She also provides support for HR functions, including payroll actions, academic hiring, and management of internal wellness and employee engagement initiatives.

She is a seasoned administrative professional with 15 years of experience working in the department, beginning her career with the Community Based Learning Program. Throughout her tenure, she has honed her skills in coordinating high-volume operations, from facilitating workshops and events to serving as the Mini-Grants Coordinator handling fund transfers and supporting financial processes.

Milínda holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Humanities from CSU, Northridge with a focus on culture and identity.
