Programs, resources, and services to help instructors elevate their teaching at UCLA.

The UCLA Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) provides resources, services, and collaborative engagement opportunities for the campus instructional community to elevate teaching and foster an enduring commitment to student success. We offer professional learning programs — from one-time workshops to multi-day institutes — for educators working to implement effective teaching strategies and find opportunities to collaborate with colleagues. Through consultations, course design assistance, and media production support, the TLC aids educators in crafting innovative course materials and assessment tools to foster an effective, inclusive classroom experience. Additionally, we provide educational innovation grants, teaching bulletins, and on-demand pedagogical support materials that help instructors throughout the entire teaching experience, support well-being, and help them continue to build instructional skills and pedagogical knowledge.
