Are you applying for a teaching or academic position this year? Would you like to prepare for your time on the job market by learning now what teaching experiences to note? A well-constructed teaching statement must draw upon your genuine, specific, and informed beliefs about education, pedagogy, and creating inclusive learning communities. In this session and writing lab, you will begin to develop a personal teaching philosophy and practice reflective methods that will help track pivotal teaching moments, in order to articulate your own approach to teaching.

The Office of Instructional Development TA Training Program is excited to announce workshops for TAs for the Winter Quarter. Whether you are a current TA or are just interested in teaching, join us to learn new strategies and skills for the classroom. All workshops will be held in Powell 285 (enter through the main library entrance, turn left in the Rotunda).
