TA Training Workshop: Starting the Teaching Portfolio

April 10, 2018 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Register now! Teaching portfolios are a unique platform for graduate students to collect, assess, and present evidence that demonstrates teaching efficacy, even when not requested as part of an application. During this workshop, participants will learn how to structure and build a portfolio. We will practice how educators translate instructional experiences into strong portfolio entries, leading to concrete starting points for you to begin and maintain a teaching portfolio throughout your teaching career.

Whether you are currently TAing or would like to TA in the future, please join us to learn new strategies and skills for the classroom in our small-group, hands-on workshops. Click the “Register Now” button to reserve your space. If the session is full, please email Jennifer MacGregor at tatp@oid.ucla.edu to see if we can accommodate you. We look forward to working with you!
